Hello

My name is Janine Landham. I am the Math Intensive teacher hear at JYK Discovery Charter School. I am a caring and dedicated educator who has taught in many diverse learning environments from preschools to high schools. I love to incorporate real world, hands on activities and technology into my lessons whenever possible and I am constantly searching for new techniques to excite and inspire my students to want to learn and to become better critical thinkers.

I graduated with a B.S. in Education from Temple University and attended graduate classes at Gratz College. I worked as the middle School science teacher at DCS from 2003 until 2008. I came back home to DCS as the middle school math teacher in 2001-2002 and the middle school math intensive teacher in 2002-2003. I am excited to begin my second year as the math intensive teacher for grades seventh and eighth and look forward to serving my students and their parents.
